The DeSoto Beach Hotel bills itself as the only real beachfront hotel to be found on Tybee. While other hotels on Tybee Island may beg to differ, DeSoto does offer a variety of rooms to accommodate many parties, and it's far from a bad choice for a Tybee Island vacation. The facilities are nice, the pool is clean and inviting, and it is, after all, right on the beach.
