A Brief History of Condor Ferries

The ferry company of Condor Ferries was founded by Jack Noman and Peter Dorey, two Chanel Islands' businessmen, over forty years ago in 1964. Passenger numbers rapidly grew from around 10,000 in 1964 to over 60,000 in 1966, mainly as a result of it providing a faster link between France and the two larger Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey.
